We live in an era where we feel the need to please everyone. No one wants to be on the ‘bad children’ list. Lets face it, kid. You say YES far more often that you really should. You are known as the ‘go-to person’ for everything. Although, let me enlighten you with the fact that if you are ‘always there’, people will rip off your life. Oh yes, the bitter truth. So, de clutter your life! We all know what goes in your mind what will happen IF you say no. Everyone will think you’re a selfish, inconsiderate sloth. *sigh*

YES, that is correct. No one can teach you how to say no but YOU. Stand in front of the mirror and practice. Work on your skills on how you should react to different situations when people ask you those unsettling favours. Work it, ‘overly-nice, taken for granted’ peeps!

2. Do It Respectfully

Yes, that’s correct. It’s a game changer people! Whenever you are declining someone just pass along a small smile. Don’t get all creepy though. It creates an impression in their mind that  ‘Oh, they wanted to help me but couldn’t. They are so genuine and thoughtful. It’s FINE if they don’t help me. I understand.‘ Mind-blowing. Isn’t it? How a little smile can make an impact on another person’s perception? So, keep smiling fellas.

So, saying NO isn’t that hard if you do it right. Your time is valuable, my friend. You need to invest in yourself and fill up your calendar with great opportunities. Say NO and set yourself free, mate.
